Chat with influencers

Chat with influencers happens on Keepface — not in DMs, not in WhatsApp, not over email. Every message is logged, attributed to a campaign, and visible to support if a dispute happens.

Where chat lives

  • Inside a campaign — each invited influencer gets a thread tied to that campaign. Messages, files, voice notes, and brief revisions all live there.
  • Outside a campaign — the 6 sample influencers on a public list let you send a direct chat without launching a campaign. The thread shows up in Inbox → Direct messages.

Both views aggregate into a single Inbox so you don’t have to remember which is which.

What you can send

  • Plain text
  • Files (PDF, docx, png, jpg, mp4 up to 25 MB)
  • Voice notes
  • A revised brief (replaces the previous one with a tracked change)
  • Money-related actions (offer revision, deliverable approval, refund) — these surface as structured cards in the thread

What we track

  • Read receipts (visible to both sides)
  • Time-to-first-reply per influencer (used for matching and reputation)
  • Attachments (kept for the life of the campaign + 90 days for dispute support)

What’s enforced

  • No off-platform handoffs. Sharing personal phone numbers or external chat handles to take the conversation off Keepface is against Acceptable use. It’s not detected automatically, but if a dispute happens we’ll only have the on-platform record.
  • Spam protection. Identical messages to many influencers in a short window get rate-limited.

Notification routing

The influencer receives:

  • An in-app notification the moment you send
  • An email if they don’t open the app within 30 minutes
  • A push notification on the mobile app

You receive notifications the same way for their replies.
